How To Use .srt File Extension In VLC Media Player

While watching movies which are not in our language it get's a bit difficult for us to understand them, this happen due to our language barrier. The solution to overcome this barrier is subtitles.

When we are watching some videos or movie we can need subtitles, because it gives us proper understanding of every dialogue in the movie, it is very helpful for those who are not able to understand the accent. These subtitles are available in different languages, often people from other countries download subtitles in their native language. The extension of these subtitles are in .srt format.

Follow these steps to use .srt in VLC player:

Step 1:

Open VLC player

Step 2:

Open the video which you want to play

Step 3:

Now click on video in vlc player

Step 4:

Click on subtitles track

Step 5:

Now click on open file

Step 6:

Now upload the .srt file wherever it is located

Step 7:

After selecting .srt then click OK
