Heat Sink


  • Dissipate heat through thermal conduction
Copper or aluminum along

  • Fins/grid increase surface are
Heat is then transferred to cooler air

  • Thermal "grease" creates a good contact between the chip and the heat sink
  • They got hot don't touch them
